Poniente Beach is one of several clear-water beaches at Benidorm, which is five minutes away by car and stretches for almost three miles. Levante and Mal Pas beaches are nearby, and Mal Pas has a marine reserve with a colorfully lush seabed for lovers of scuba diving. In addition, there are cozy, well-known coves such as Tío Ximo or La Almadrava.

Places to Visit

Benidorm has a wide range of leisure activities for adults and families. There is a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, ballrooms, discotheques, and pubs for all tastes. The old town, the English area, Benidorm Palace, and the Casino Mediterráneo are iconic places in the city. The area is synonymous with recreational parks, such as the Aqualandia water park, the largest in Europe, and the Terra Mítica, a traditional amusement park. The Museo del Motor in Finestrat features a collection of antique automobiles, including examples of the earliest steam-powered cars. For more machines with engines, go-carts are nearby just north of Highway 7.

Golf Courses

There are several nearby golf courses, two by Nicklaus Design, within 30 minutes of Sunset Sailors. The Las Rejas nine-hole golf course is integrated into the surrounding natural and urban areas next to Eagle Tower, a neighboring development. The Nicklaus courses are about a ten-minute drive by car, located at the Villaitana Wellness Golf and Business Resort. Within half an hour’s drive, there are three more: Club de Golf Don Cayo in Altea Hills, Club de Golf Bonalba in Mutxamel and Club de Golf Ifach in Benissa.
